Maria's testimonial

Dear Paul and Linda,

I have no words to thank you for putting together an elite College with such  unique teachings, magnificent teachers and professors.

I have spent many years studying Natural Healing Arts for my own healing and came through many battles and challenges during my walk of life. As a result, I had made my mission to teach everyone that crosses my path how to overcome their struggles in life on all levels, physical. emotional, mental and spiritual, just as I did.

In order for me to do this I had to find a school that would train and certify such modalities, Thanks to CIHS I was able to declare myself as a professional health practitioner through my Spiritual Healing Course. In April 2006 spiritual healers had been recognized by the Canadian Examination Board of Healthcare Practitioners through the designation of REHP, (Registered Etheric Health Practitioner) and you were on top of every school in bringing this recognition to CIHS. I am very proud of my designation of REHP as I was also the very first to be registered in all Canada in September 2006. I believe that it is a demonstration of high professionalism in the natural healing arts and I am a strong advocate in promoting it to all the students and practitioners that work within the field because it distinguishes the amateur from the certified practitioner that has spent time and effort in actual training with CIHS.

What I like most about CIHS is that it allowed me to not only train myself to use my skills in the natural healing arts through the studies of Spiritual Healing with Janet Amare and Vibrational Medicine with Kathy Walker, but I was able to train also in the Sciences through the 2 year course of Natural Medicine taking biology, anatomy and physiology, and chemistry, medical terminology, nutrition, biofeedback, bioterrain analisis, darkfield microscopy, acupunture and herbology. I also had the great opportunity to take the one year course of Orthomolecular Nutrition with Dr James Mescino. The combination of both science and arts studies through CIHS  have allowed me to position myself in the place of meeting the requirements to receiving a Doctorate in Natural Medicine.

Last year’s graduation was the first of it’s kind with CIHS and below is the article that had been published in September 2008 by the site www.italiani.ca. Let’s do it again! ….and this time with the delivering of the first CIHS’s Doctorate of Natural Medicine to all those students that have meet the requirements, just like myself.

Event Details

On September 28th 2008 Milton's own College of International Holistic Studies held their 2007/2008 graduation ceremonies, celebrating 24 graduates in 6 different disciplines: Acupuncture, Natural Medicine, Vibrational Medicine, Spiritual Healing, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Botanical Medicine. Graduate Maria Grazia Bevilacqua was honoured as she qualified to receive her Doctorate of Natural Medicine from WONM University of Humanitarian Medicine and delivered a heartfelt speech to the graduates in their upcoming healing journey. The convocation was opened with a blessing from faculty member, healer and author Janet Amare, with the lighting of a candle representing the Light of Healing and Life Force the graduates are going to spread out to the world. Registrar Paul Henderson and Dean of The College Linda Henderson shared their vision of CIHS, thanking students past, present and future and challenging all present to 'spread the word' and make the dream of CIHS joining Milton's 150 acre Educational Village, led by Wilfred Laurier University, a reality. Each faculty member extolled the incredible achievements of each graduate and the College as a whole. The afternoon was highlighted by Musical Entertainment from CIHS Dean of Students Phil Hughes, Lorretta Bailey, and Traditional Chinese Medicine instructor Scarlett Antaloczy. "That all of this has been achieved in such a short period of time is extraordinary", said Author and healer Stefan Tsirikos, "CIHS faculty, students and administration have provided their students with a wonderful opportunity and the knowledge that without 'heart' all education is meaningless."
